The Burra Visitor Centre is a Tourism Accredited hub for business and tourism information in the heritage listed town of Burra. The Margaret River Visitor Centre is headquarters for the Augusta Margaret River Tourism Association, winner of the 2008 Australian Tourism Award for Visitor Information and Services. Located in one of the world’s most exciting tourism destinations the visitor centre provides extensive information and a booking service. It’s also home to the award-winning Wine Tourism Showroom where you can start a journey of discovery of Margaret River wines. The Dongara-Port Denison Visitors Centre is owned and operated by the Shire of Irwin and operates from the Heritage listed Old Post Office building in Dongara. This is the first stop on the Irwin District's Heritage Walk of Dongara. The Dongara-Port Denison Visitors Centre's primary focus is to provide information and assistance to visitors to the area and assist all tourism related businesses in providing a service to visitors. The Visitor Centre is an accredited level two Visitors Centre, an Australian Tourism Accredited and the federal government TQUAL mark ensuring the highest standard of customer service, quality products and experiences to all visitors. The staff can assist with bookings on the TransWA and Integrity Coachlines, booking accommodation in the whole of the state, providing visitors with maps and brochures of the Shire and the region and assisting with other requirements such as camping, parking and drinking water. The Centre also has Police Licensing and the Public Library Service. The Dongara-Port Denison Visitors Centre is open Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 5.00pm, Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm and Saturday 9.00am to 12.00pm. Closed public holidays.

The Peterborough Tourist Information Outlet is a must to visit, not only for information, Wi-Fi access and souvenirs, but also to step back in time and come aboard the restored first class sleeping carriage of the East West Express, dating back to 1917.
