Located 15 kilometres from the town, Alice Springs airport is modern and compact. The airport's travel facilities include left-luggage, lost property services, showers, toilets and baby-change rooms. There are ATMs and public telephones, internet access, a post box, and a tourist information stand. The cafe and bar serve meals, snacks and drinks, and the outdoor lounge area is an airport oasis for smokers and non-smokers alike. Souvenir and gift shops and a newsagency will sate airport shoppers. Wheelchairs are available from airport staff, and all terminal facilities are accessible to travellers with disabilities. Alice Springs airport services domestic flights only, flights within the Northern Territory and interstate services. Passengers can easily connect with international flights in Darwin or in interstate capital cities. A taxi and private hire-car rank is located outside the terminal, and all major car hire companies have vehicles to rent from the airport (book ahead or at the airport).The airport shuttle bus service transfers travellers to and from the town, picking up and dropping off at local hotels. Tickets can be purchased online or at the airport. The airport car park is open 24 hours per day, seven days per week and accommodates short- and long-term parking.

Central Aboriginal Experiences (CAE) is the name of the Alice Springs Indigenous Tourism Hub. CAE is working with a number of Aboriginal owned businesses offering tourism products throughout the Central Australian region. CAE gives visitors the opportunity to book one or multiple tourism products in varying locations through one direct number, for information and bookings. The aim of the organisation is to develop and expand the capabilities of Aboriginal culture touring throughout Central Australia. Tourism products will include art workshops, visiting rock art sites, art galleries, sacred sites, cultural awareness tours and a variety of other experiences showcasing Aboriginal culture in the region. Tours will be offered on a half or full day basis, as well as overnight and extended touring for both individual and group bookings.

The closest airport to Central Australia's iconic monolith, Uluru Airport is located six kilometres from Yulara (Ayers Rock Resort), and 16 kilometres from Uluru/Ayers Rock. The airport's official name is Ayers Rock Airport, Yulara (Connellan Airport), it services domestic flights for major and smaller airlines as well as charter flights. The main terminal houses retail and dining outlets, as well as travel amenities, toilets and baby-change rooms, plus public telephones, internet access and a post box. (The nearest banking facilities and tourist information centre are located at Yulara). Getting to and from the airport - Complimentary shuttle buses transfer passengers between the airport and the resort; and car hire is available (book ahead or at the airport). There is no taxi service in the area.
