Based in St. Helens on the sunny East coast, Green Island Tours Tasmania is conducting bicycle tours for all fitness levels and comfort desires with excellent value for money. They are neither off road nor racing tours, just normal "touring" with time to see special places. The managing director has 25 years of experience in this field. Each tour can be booked in one of four accommodation categories. We own a fleet of hybrid bikes which are serviced to a very high standard and backed by RACT roadside assist. Each self guided tour is planned individually to suit the customers preferences. The itineraries are very flexible. We also also conduct guided tours with our support vehicle, even special departures for your group. We are using a purpose-built, enclosed trailer for quick loading and unloading, the maximum is 12 participants.

Birding South West conducts guided bird watching tours in the South West of Western Australia, focusing on the many endemic species of the region. The South West region of Western Australia is home to more than 250 bird species, 13 of which, including five parrots and cockatoos, are endemic to the South West; that is they are found nowhere else in the world. Other notable endemics include the stunningly beautiful Red-eared Firetail, the Red-winged Fairy-Wren and the White-breasted Robin. Their tours range from half day tempters right through to fully accommodated 16 day expeditions, as well as personalised tours looking for particular species or to specific locations. Tailor made specialty tours are also designed and conducted for other parts of Australia and are available on request. For full and half day tours you are collected from your accommodation and taken to a number of local hotspots where host and guide, Peter Taylor, showcases the wonderful avifauna of Australia's South West. Launch yourself off waterfalls, abseil down cliffs and shoot through nature's water-slides. Or take an easier option and float along seeing the world from the point of view of a platypus. Canyoning is a must do for lovers of adventure at Cradle Mountain. Canyoning involves putting on a wetsuit and helmet and swimming, floating, abseiling, walking and jumping your way through a section of river - like white water rafting without the raft. Cradle Mountain Canyons is the only business offering guided canyoning tours in Tasmania. The Dove Canyon Tour is a full-on day out involving an abseil into the canyon, followed by six waterfall jumps and slides and a number of other obstacles. No experience in necessary - just a reasonable level of fitness and ability to swim. The Lost World Canyon is a much easier and shorter option, great for families and available to participants aged at least eight. This one is all about getting up close and personal with nature. Tours depart from the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre. Cradle Mountain is around 90 minutes drive (88 kilometres/55 miles) from Devonport or 2 hours 15 minutes (153km/95km) from Launceston.
