Unlike other walking tours of Melbourne, PHOTO Walking Tours of Melbourne is a photo course that offers expert photographic advice on how to frame pictures, utilise light and get the most out of your camera. Regardless of its make or model you can enhance your once-in-a-lifetime photographs. What better way to learn how to take high quality images whilst exploring one the worlds most liveable cities. Join one of our three two-hour tours, nine-hour workshops or suggest your own customised itinerary. The two hour tours are, the Melbourne City Tour including Chinatown, Yarra River and Gardens Tour or St Kilda Tour. The nine-hour photo course is for the demanding photographers who would like an extensive workshop that covers basic photography in depth. It is divided into four sessions, that concentrate on how to take better pictures of city/street scape, architecture, portraits, action, sports, flash and tripod skills. The introductory three-hour session includes a lecture on the basics of photography and getting to know your camera, followed by two hours of taking pictures along the Yarra River in the City. The second two-hour session covers the streets and lanes of the City. The third two-hour session is at St Kilda. The final two-hour session is a twilight tour of the City.
