Maria Island Walk
The multi award-winning Maria Island Walk is a four-day guided journey through stunning coastal and mountain landscapes of Maria Island's national park. The walks teach visitors to appreciate the wonders of Tasmania's natural sanctuary by introducing them to abundant wildlife and the island's colourful colonial history and beauty. The national park allows extensive but achievable hikes, however a certain level of fitness is required. Each guided walk is limited to just eight guests and Maria Island Walk's guides are ranked among the country's best. At the end of each day enjoy candlelight dining, where renowned Tasmanian fine food and wines are served in elegant wilderness camps. The final night is spent in the restored, Bernacchi House at the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Darlington Probation Station. Walks operate from mid-October to the end of April.
