National Gallery of Australia

Visit the home of Australia’s national collection of art which includes specially designed galleries showcasing the world’s largest collection of Indigenous art. See Albert Namatjira’s delicate watercolours, early Papunya dot paintings, bold ochred paintings from the Kimberley and contemporary politically charged works by urban artists. A changing line up of permanent and international exhibitions, as well as public programs and events are held throughout the year. General admission to the gallery is free. Free guided tours are available every day except Christmas Day.
