This seven day itinerary explores the Greater Blue Mountains region of New South Wales. Experience indigenous history, stunning scenery, World Heritage-listed national parks, cliff-top golf courses, historic guesthouses and unique luxury wilderness retreats. Explore charming artistic hamlets, full of galleries, antique shops, gourmet food producers and mountain spas.
Day 2: Morning
Rise early to take in all the attractions around Katoomba, Leura and the Jamison Valley. Here you will find fine food outlets, artists, galleries, pubs and historic hotels. An easy way to get around all the attractions and bushwalks is to hop on and off the Explorer Bus or Trolley Tours. You can be dropped off at one point, do a short bushwalk, and be picked up where you finish. Watch the sun light up and change the colours of the Three Sisters at Echo Point; then climb the giant staircase which rises up from the valley.
Day 2: Afternoon/Evening
Take a thrilling ride on the Scenic Railway; then come back up from the bottom of the valley in the glass-bottomed Scenic Cableway.
Stay the night at the luxury Wolgan Valley Resort and Spa.
