Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary,
Gold Coast, QLD.

This koala from Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary loves a sleep-in and, like many koalas, it’s not uncommon to see him snoozing during the day. In fact, koalas can sleep up to 20 hours every day! Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on the Gold Coast is the perfect place for a close encounter with a koala, kangaroo, rainbow lorikeet and other native Australian animals.

Dee Why, Sydney, NSW.

Rise and shine, it’s time for an early morning swim at Dee Why Beach on Sydney’s beautiful northern beaches. Take in this stretch of sand and saltwater on a drive between Manly Beach and Palm Beach on a summer’s day and you’ll feel like a local in no time.

Kelly Hill Cave, Kangaroo Island, SA.

Sort out your stalactites from your stalagmites at Kelly Hill Cave on Kangaroo Island, one of the few dry limestone caves in Australia and the perfect place to try out adventure caving. Don a helmet and headlamp and join an experienced tour guide to crawl your way through a unique underground labyrinth of smaller caverns.

Beauchamp Falls,
Great Otway National Park, VIC.

Otway Forest Park on the Great Ocean Road, is home to a wide range of Australia’s flora and fauna with owls, eagles and bats nestled amongst the dense forest. Beauchamp Falls is one of the rewards that awaits as you hike through this rainforest in one of the most stunning landscapes in Victoria

Little Bay, Sydney, NSW.

Seals such as this sun-loving fellow are a common waterside sight in Sydney. With the warmer months comes an increase in seal sightings as they sun bathe on rocky outcrops near beaches, Sydney Harbour and Botany Bay. Keep an eye out for them when travelling on a ferry or boat out on the water.
