The Inverloch Visitor Information Centre provides a one-stop shop for information, accommodation bookings and ticket sales. The friendly staff and volunteers will happily assist you with information on: - Accommodation - Eateries - restaurants, cafes and take away venues - Wineries and local produce - Attractions and activities - including the Penguin Parade, various art, craft and antique galleries, local markets and events - Walking tracks and tours - Swimming, boating and fishing The Information Centre also stocks a range of maps and information on other regions throughout Victoria and Australia and the trained staff and volunteers can assist with any general inquiries you may have. While in the Visitor Information Centre you can also inquire and request a copy of the current calendar of events, which includes information such as upcoming markets, sporting events and festivals.

Metung is a small Village of 550 permanent residents located on a narrow peninsula of land separating Bancroft Bay from Lake King. Situated in East Gippsland and ideally placed with the surrounding protected waters of the Gippsland Lakes (400 square kilometres) Metung is a comfortable 3.5 hour drive from Melbourne. Metung Visitor Information Centre is centrally located in the Village and is open seven days per week (closed Christmas Day) and can assist visitors to Metung and surrounds with local information, a free accommodation, tour and activity booking service in this picturesque Village located on the Gippsland Lakes. The Visitor Information Centre can also help with information on day boat hire, overnight cruiser or yacht hire, scenic cruises, galleries, restaurants, cooking school, walks, sightseeing, wineries, food trails, tours and scenic drives. They are able to assist with their free accommodation booking service, whether it be a motel, bed and breakfast, waterfront apartments, cabin, cottages and houses either in the village or the surrounding area.

The Wellington Visitor Information Centre - Sale is a level one accredited Visitor Information Centre that can provide you with information to assist you in your travel through the Wellington Shire region and to make your stay more enjoyable. They have an excellent range of brochures, showcasing what and where, you can go to enjoy what this region has to offer. The staff are extremely happy to assist you with your requests. Bairnsdale Visitor Information Centre, in East Gippsland, is ideally situated at the start of the Great Alpine Road and a focal point on the Sydney - Melbourne Coastal Route serving both the Gippsland Lakes to the east and the High Country to the north. The region is an ever popular holiday and touring location all the year round being well known for not only its mild temperate climate especially in the winter months, but for its natural attractions. "East Gippsland - naturally magic" sums up its appeal for all ages and all interests. Bairnsdale Visitor Centre provides not only information but offers a free booking service for accommodation and for the many tours around the Gippsland Lakes Region by land sea and air. Lakes Entrance Visitor Information Centre is the first place to come for information on the Lakes and Wilderness Region. The best known destination, the Gippsland Lakes, is the biggest and most beautiful expanse of inland waterways in the southern hemisphere. Walk across the sand dunes and you're right on the famous Ninety Mile Beach. With eight magnificent National Parks on the coast and in the high country, that's more than any other region of Australia. The roll call includes the Alpine National Park (Victoria's biggest), the Snowy River National Park and the UNESCO- listed Croajingalong National Park that embraces 100 kilometres of coastline. The region has two of Australia's greatest driving routes. The Great Alpine Road, which winds through the Alpine National Park and Victoria's high country. The Sydney to Melbourne Coastal Drive, which in East Gippsland, starts at Croajingalong National Park and ends at the Gippsland Lakes. And, with the country's biggest fishing port at Lakes Entrance, we're the fishing capital of Australia. (Just ask any serious recreational angler who has fished here). The region is also very well known for doing very little at all. You could book a lakeside apartment or canal villa with a boat moored at your private jetty, and never leave the waterways for your entire holiday. Or stay in a country inn way up in the clear mountain air of Victoria's alpine country and simply wander through the wildflowers.

The centre is located in the Wonthaggi Centennial Centre, built in 2011 to celebrate the Centennial of Wonthaggi. The Latrobe Visitor Information Centre is located on the Princes Highway in Traralgon. It is a dedicated tourism information centre offering professional and local knowledge on the Latrobe Valley and the wider central and west Gippsland region. The team of passionate staff and friendly volunteers are at your service! The Latrobe Valley is a central and convenient place to explore a diverse range of wonderful nearby attractions. Ideally located, its position within west Gippsland region makes it central to an abundant array of natural wonders including the bush, snowfields, lakes and beaches. The region offers something for everyone. Key highlights of the area include the cool temperate rainforest Tarra Bulga National Park as well as nearby Morwell National Park. Discover one of the most successful old gold mining towns in Victoria, Walhalla. The Latrobe Valley is also the major producer of Victoria's electricity! The area is fertile in brown coal deposits and visitors have the opportunity to learn about the production of electricity whilst in the area and explore one of the Power Stations on tour. Kiama Visitors Centre is a Level 1 Accredited Centre that provides comprehensive visitor information. Call into the Visitor Information Centre for information on the local area including accommodation, restaurants and service providers. The centre sells tickets on behalf of local associations, such as the Jazz Club, as well as Premier Motor Service Bookings, Jamberoo Recreation and Illawarra Fly tickets. Accommodation bookings can be made at the Centre or can be booked online on the Kiama website. The centre sells mainly Australian made merchandise and souvenirs including t-shirts, postcards, Kiama branded stationery and books. Information on regional NSW is also available.

The Maffra Visitor Information Centre serves this beautiful country town of approximately 5,300 people, situated 220 km east of Melbourne in the Wellington Shire. It is the centre of the rich Macalister agricultural, pastoral and dairying irrigation area. Situated on the Macalister River, this friendly town with its delightful tree-lined main street has a great deal to offer those who visit this area. The Information Centre is housed in the late-Victorian designed Maffra Courthouse which retains most of its original features including the Baltic pine-lined ceiling and floorboards, the Magistrate's bench and marble fireplaces and all doors, doorways and interior woodwork. In the specially designed display cases, you will see an important collection of mineral specimens, gemstones and fossils, the result of a lifetime of collection by Italian immigrant, Pino Deriu. Leaving Italy in 1952, this fully qualified accountant came to Australia and soon joined his brother in prospecting for opal around Coober Pedy. This led to a lifelong love of fossicking and trading minerals and gemstones. Apart from a wide and fully representative range of Australian specimens, his collection also contains extremely rare items from Europe, Africa, North and South America, Asia and Asia Minor. Pino's preference was to leave most of the specimens he collected in their natural state rather than have them cut, polished or mounted, which adds to the scientific value of this amazing collection.
