Jimmy’s action packed journey takes Jimmy out of the kitchen and into a wide variety of landscapes from crocodile wrangling in the tropical wetlands of the Northern Territory and mud-crabbing in The Kimberley region of Western Australia to turning bee keeper for a day on Kangaroo Island in South Australia.
Along the way Jimmy is joined by Australia’s top chefs, brewers, vintners and farmers as he tries out some brand new food innovations including lemonade fruit and a pearl meat sensation.

Here’s a suggested three week itinerary that follows in Jimmy’s footsteps, discovering the highlights of Western Australia, the Northern Territory and South Australia.
West Coast Highlights
Day 3-6: Catch a flight north to the exotic pearling town of Broome, the western gateway to The Kimberley region. Ride a camel along Cable Beach at sunset, shop for pearls at Chinatown and catch the ‘moon staircase’ illusion. From Broome, discover the rugged and spectacular Dampier Peninsula. Day 14-16: Arrive in Australia’s cultural capital, Adelaide where restaurants, parklands and wine regions are all within easy reach. Indulge in fresh regional produce at the Adelaide Central Markets, swim with Dolphins at Glenelg Beach and explore the hustle and bustle of Rundle Street and Gouger Street, the city’s popular dining strips. Day 17-20: Take a ferry or catch a flight to Kangaroo Island for an abundance of wildlife, breathtaking scenery and fabulous local fare.
