Each July, NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It offers a great opportunity to support local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities by getting involved in a range of hosted activities — but it doesn't have to stop at NAIDOC.
Australia’s Aboriginal population might be the world’s most ancient living culture, but it’s flourishing right in the heart of Australia's cities. Here we look at what's going on, right in the middle of Sydney. These experiences offer authentic, meaningful ways to connect with some of Sydney’s friendliest locals and gain genuine insights into Aboriginal ways of life at the same time.
