Big Red Bash 4 - 6 JULY

Birdsville hosts the  world’s most remote music festival - Big Red Bash - crowned Australia’s Favourite Event (2016).

Birdsville's Big Red Bash takes place smack bang in the middle of the Simpson Desert in Queensland’s Outback, with the Big Red sand dune (all 30 meters or 100 feet of it) doubling as the backdrop for this award-winning annual camping and concert gig. Expect to rub shoulders with Australian music royalty like Jimmy Barnes and Paul Kelly at a three day event that draws more than 7,000 people from across Australia and beyond. In the words of Australia’s very own ‘Working Class Man’ (Jimmy Barnes), it’s ‘like no other gig in the world!’.
