Morning
Featuring the best produce from Canberra and the surrounding region, a tour of the Capital Region Farmers Markets (Saturdays only) is the best way to see and sample the exciting seasonal characteristics and diversity of the region. Be lured by the smell of freshly ground coffee, the reassuring dirt on the potatoes, honey still warm from the hive, oranges beaming in the sun and the hum of chatter between the producers and their customers.

Afternoon
Be transported in first-class fashion to lunch with Canberra Helicopters and get a birds’ eye view of the nation’s capital, landing at Pialligo Estate for lunch. Set on 86 acres just minutes from Canberra’s centre, Pialligo Estate incorporates an olive grove, vineyard, orchard, market garden and the award-winning Pialligo Smokehouse, together with its Farmhouse Restaurant and Garden Pavilions.

Evening
Enjoy a dessert degustation at the birthplace of the original, and the best, Freakshakes! Join the social media Freakshow at Patissez, home to the world-renowned Freakshakes. Experiment and put your own mark on their signature favourites such as the Cookies ‘n Freaks and Original Pretzella.

DAY 2: LIONS AND TIGERS AND…..MONSTERS!

Jamala Wildlife Lodge, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

Enjoy breakfast at Monster Kitchen and Bar in the NewActon precinct’s architecturally impressive Nishi building. Then take part in a truffle hunt in the oak forest on Canberra trufferie, The Truffle Farm. Afternoon
Experience the ultimate overnight safari at Jamala Wildlife Lodge, and get up close and personal with some of the National Zoo & Aquarium’s residents, from the comfort of your luxury accommodation. Bathe beside a bear, dine next to a lion or feed a giraffe from your own balcony. Enjoy an exclusive afternoon tour of the zoo.

DAY 3: FOOD VANS, CRAFT BEERS AND BAO

The Hamlet, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

Morning
Enjoy an exclusive Zoo tour and breakfast before making your way to the inner-city precinct of Braddon. Stroll down Lonsdale Street; once an eclectic mix of retail stores and car yards, this street is now the city’s hippest dining and shopping strip. Discover a mix of hipster coffee shops, casual eateries, bakeries, pubs, restaurants and bars.

Afternoon
Grab lunch from the fantastic selection of food vans in The Hamlet, an urban village in the heart of Braddon with an uber cool and friendly vibe. For a world-class craft beer experience, ‘hops’ on over to Bentspoke Brewing Co, Canberra’s premier microbrewery and tap house.
