The NSW South Coast stretches 600km south from Sydney through the stunning Shoalhaven to the breathtaking Sapphire Coast in the far south. It’s fast becoming a popular destination for serious foodies. Discover white sand beaches, coastal walks, bountiful local produce, picturesque wineries, fishing estuaries and sustainable oyster farms. Head inland to tour charming villages and meet local producers.

DAY 1: A MAGICAL OYSTER TOUR

Tanja Lagoon Camp, Tanja, New South Wales

Morning
Fly from Sydney to Merimbula. Enjoy coffee with ocean views at Bar Beach Kiosk before meeting a local oyster farmer for a Magical Oyster Tour to sample fresh Pambula Lake oysters. Enjoy lunch in the garden at Dulcie’s Cottage.

Afternoon
Arrive at Tanja Lagoon Camp for a glamping experience in luxury safari tent accommodation. Enjoy some free time - kayak on the lagoon, swim or surf at any one of seven uncrowded beaches, or walk through the native forests of Mimosa Rocks National Park spotting kangaroos along the way.  

Evening
Dine under the stars by the lagoon at Tanja. Your sumptuous meal features local produce and paired wines prepared by ex-Tetsuya’s and Bentley chef Huw Jones from Merimbula’s two-hatted Zanzibar Cafe.

DAY 2: MEET THE LOCALS AND TASTE THE LOCAL FLAVOURS 

Rick Stein's at Bannisters, Mollymook, New South Wales

Morning
Enjoy a farm tour and tasting at award-winning Tathra Oysters. Drive north along the scenic coastal road to the foodie village of Bermagui. Stop for coffee and admire the artwork of local artist Matt Chun at Mister Jones.

Afternoon
Feast on modern Italian cuisine at lunch, overlooking the marina at Il Passaggio at Bermagui Fishermens Wharf. Drop into the renowned Honorbread sourdough bakery and Bermagui Gelati Clinic. After lunch, stop by The River Cottage Australia in central Tilba.

Evening
Check into your luxury accommodation at Bannisters by the Sea in Mollymook, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. For dinner, feast on local oysters, fish and shellfish at Rick Stein’s at Bannisters.    

DAY 3: FROM THE PADDOCK AND THE SEA TO YOUR PLATE

Cupitt’s Winery, Ulladulla, New South Wales

Morning
Using a bike from the hotel, go for a ride to enjoy local favourite breakfast hot spot Tallwood. Indulge in a treatment at Pinnacle Day Spa or enjoy a stand-up paddleboard session with former world surf champion Pam Burridge on Mollymook Beach

Afternoon
Head to Cupitt’s Winery for a tour of the fromagerie, micro-brewery and boutique winery before enjoying a five-course degustation lunch in the garden. Spend the afternoon wandering around the quaint village of Milton, stopping for cake and coffee at Flour Water Salt

Evening
Start the evening by enjoying South Coast oysters and local sparkling wine around the pool at Bannisters by the Sea. Make the short drive to St Isidore for dinner. 

DAY 4: SCENIC ROAD TRIP BACK TO SYDNEY

Sea Cliff Bridge, Clifton, New South Wales

Morning
After breakfast at your accommodation, depart Mollymook for Sydney. Pass through stunning country and coastal scenery before stopping for lunch at SOUTH on Albany in Berry

Afternoon
After lunch wander through this charming country village and pick up a coffee and chocolate tart for the road from Berry Sourdough Bakery. On your return drive to Sydney take in the spectacular views from the Sea Cliff Bridge.
