Day 1: Welcome to the outback

Uluru, Uluru-Kata-Tjutja National Park, Northern Territory.

Morning
Fly into Uluru, the spiritual heart of Australia. On arrival you will be transferred to the Sails in the Desert Hotel, Ayers Rock Resort’s premier hotel. Sails in the Desert is a contrast of Uluru's raw beauty offering modern luxury amongst the desert landscape.

Afternoon
This afternoon travel to a secluded dune top and enjoy a bush tucker inspired afternoon tea, including nibbles and cocktails infused with bush tuck flavours. Sit back and relax as you take in the beauty and awe of Uluru.

Evening
This evening as the sun sets, meander through the red desert pathways on the back of a camel, to a dining site that is hidden in the desert landscape. With a menu created for this occasion by the resorts’ Head Chef it will be a night unlike no other. 

Day 2: Experience Uluru and Desert Luxury

Tali Wiru, Yulara, Northern Territory.

Morning
This morning travel into the Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park to view the sunrise. Enjoy a picnic breakfast and witness the desert come to life as the light sweeps across the sands and onto Uluru and Kata Tjuta. 

Afternoon
This afternoon spend time with a local Anangu artist for a traditional Dot Painting Workshop. Learn the meaning of ancient symbols that are used to tell the stories of their culture. You will even have the opportunity to paint your own story using traditional methods and symbols.

Evening
Dine this evening at ‘Tali-Wiru’, set amongst the ancient landscapes of Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Enjoy a four course menu inspired by indigenous and native ingredients, paired with premium Australian wines. Tali Wiru offers fine dining amid Southern Desert skies.

Day 3: Bird's-eye view of the outback

Uluru, Uluru-Kata-Tjutja National Park, Northern Territory.

Morning
This morning you will see Uluru from a different perspective as you fly over the desert landscape in a helicopter. Passing by the majestic Kata Tjuta before landing on neighbouring Mt Connor. Enjoy an outback breakfast from the top of Mt Connor as you take in the view.

Afternoon
After flying into Kings Creek Station meet Ian, who will take you on a tour of his working cattle station on a quad bike. You will experience life as a jackaroo and even try your hand at making Camel jerky.

Evening
Tonight immerse yourself in a star lit outback dining room for a degustation menu at the Under a Desert Moon dinner at Kings Canyon Resort. Following dinner this evening retire to your deluxe spa room nestled in the rustic rocky landscape.  

Day 4: A town like Alice

Telegraph Station, Alice Springs, Northern Territory.

Morning
This morning you will be transferred by Helicopter back to Uluru and make your way to the pioneering town of Alice Springs. 

Afternoon
This afternoon spend time with ‘Kangaroo Dundee’ Brolga Barnes, and is family of rescued kangaroos. As you wander through the property you will be sure to make a new friend or two with these friendly residents. Enjoy champagne and canapés as you watch the sunset over the MacDonnell Ranges. 

Evening
This evening dinner will be set amongst the historical stone buildings of the Alice Springs Telegraph Station.  Established in 1872 this site was key in the pioneering history of the area. The menu incorporates traditional colonial dishes with local indigenous bush tucker ingredients, created by Local chef Athol Wark. 

Day 5: Drifting over the desert

Outback Balooning, Alice Springs, Northern Territory.

Morning
You will start your day before the sun to board your sunrise hot air balloon. Float silently as you watch the sunrise over the desert. Keep your eyes out for wildlife wandering beneath you. Complete this unique experience with a champagne breakfast in a remote desert setting.

Afternoon
Depart the Northern Territory’s Red Centre.
