Day 1: Cable Beach Sunsets

Sunset bar at Cable Beach Club Resort, Broome, Western Australia

This morning you will travel to Western Australia’s capital city of Perth and from here transfer by plane to the tropical pearling town of Broome in the State’s far north west.

Arriving in Broome in the afternoon, you’ll have time to relax and refresh at your resort accommodation, or take a dip in the aquamarine waters off Cable Beach before enjoying cocktails and delicious local treats while watching one of Broome’s spectacular ocean sunsets.

Tonight dine under tropical frangipani trees at Rambutan, Cable Beach Club. South east Asian cuisine was first introduced to Broome in the early 1900s by the labourers working on the pearl luggers. Rambutan is aligned to the history and melting pot of Broome cultures.

Day 2: Mangrove Mud Crabbing

Come and experience catching mud crabs with local Aboriginal tour guide Bart Pigram. Hear about local indigenous culture and explore the scenic creeks and waterways. Once you’ve caught your own mud crab you will take it to the beach to cook up and enjoy.

Matso's Broome Brewery is "the" place to visit while in Broome and is the region’s only microbrewery. This afternoon enjoy lunch with beer tastings overlooking Roebuck Bay. Afterward take a walk through historic Chinatown and pop into one of the pearl showrooms.

Dine out at Broome’s new bar and restaurant, 18 Degrees, located on the shores of Roebuck Bay.  The menu reflects the eclectic array of cultures in the town, from crispy crocodile to delicious Asian greens and crispy pork belly.

Day 3: World's only horizontal waterfalls

Horizontal Waterfalls, Talbot Bay in the Kimberley, Western Australia

Depart Broome early with Horizontal Falls adventures. Enjoy a tea or coffee at the first stop, the famous pearl shell church at Beagle Bay. You will then head to Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm where you will be treated to breakfast and the fascinating history behind Australia’s first pearl farm.

This afternoon, ride through the Horizontal Falls on a fast boat. These are the only two horizontal waterfalls on Earth, and today you will get to witness both of them up close. Once you are through the falls, it will be time to sit back and relax as you cruise through the spectacular untouched surrounding bays and creeks. As the tour comes to an end, you will fly directly back to Broome with an aerial view of Cable Beach and Broome Township prior to landing.

This evening’s dinner will be at Zensai Restaurant at Cable Beach Resort, under the helm of Executive Chef Joki Iwama. Sample an array of traditional Japanese favourites from fresh sashimi to tempura, yaki-tori and yaki-ton.

Camel trek on Cable Beach, Broome, Western Australia

On your final morning, you will take a camel ride down the 22 kilometer stretch of sun-kissed white sand of Cable Beach.

This afternoon, you will make your way back to Perth and then transfer to your home town.
