Held biennially, the 2017 Total Badminton World Federation Sudirman Cup World Mixed Team Championships will be held from 21-28 May in conjunction with the BWF Annual General Meeting. This will be a great first event for the Gold Coast Sport and Leisure Centre and a fantastic preview for the facility as the venue for the GC2018 Badminton tournament.
Be a part of sporting history
For the last 14 championships of the Sudirman Cup, only 3 countries have claimed the title of World Mixed Team champion - China, Korea and Indonesia. China have won the cup a total of 10 times and will be coming to Gold Coast as the defending champion. Don’t miss the exhilarating competition between over 30 nations fighting for the title.

The four day festival will be held in streets and venues across Broadbeach. HOW TO GET THERE
You can fly in to Gold Coast International Airport from international or domestic ports. Special travel packages to the Gold Coast and the new Gold Coast Sport and Leisure Centre will be available. The Gold Coast is about a one hour drive north of Brisbane.
