Thredbo, New South Wales
Thredbo, nestled in the foothills of Australia’s highest mountains, in the Kosciuszko National Park, is one of the best ski resorts for all seasons. Each season has its own speciality. During the winter skiers, snowboarders and snow lovers flock to the village for but in summer Thredbo is equally as busy with hikers keen to take on the many trails through the Main Range and Australia’s highest peak, Mt Kosciuszko. In-resort activities include a nine hole golf course, tennis courts, bobsledding, a heated pool, a fully equipped leisure centre, mountain biking, fly fishing and a chairlift.
