The SunSmart Busselton Jetty Swim 2015 event will be held over two days, with activities and family entertainment for everyone. The swim itself will take place on the Sunday morning. This event is regarded as one of South West Western Australia's most famous sporting events. Online registrations plan to open on 1 October 2014, with an early bird prize draw for those who enter before 30 November 2014. Entry is open to individuals and teams of two or four persons. The course will take participants out and around the 3.6 kilometres of Busselton's iconic Jetty, in the tranquil waters of Geographe Bay. The cap on registrations for 2015 has been increased to 2,000, a proposed increase of 1,750 from the 2014 event. The 2015 Busselton Runners Club Half Marathon and Fun Run involves a 21.1 kilometre, 10 kilometre and five kilometre race to be held on the Busselton Foreshore. To keep up to date with information and event registration details for this event, sign up for the mailing list on the Busselton Runners Club website. The half marathon has been held annually in Busselton since 2009 and has grown from 220 participants on the first year, to approximately 1,200 participants in 2014. Event organisers are expecting the 2015 event to be bigger and better than ever. The 2015 half marathon and fun run will be part of a massive weekend of events including the annual Busselton Jetty Swim, the City of Busselton Criterium, and a celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Busselton Jetty.

The Margaret River Pro keeps getting bigger and better every year. The 2014 Margaret River Pro became a Men's and Women's ASP World Championship Tour event for the first time in 20 years, with the world's best heading to Margaret River to battle it out for crucial points towards the World Title and big prize money. Surfer's Point in Prevelly is the home of the event with all three surf breaks visible to patrons. The re-developed Surfer's Point (or Mainbreak) is the main event arena, with Southsides also available; however the notorious and hollow, shallow reef barrel of The Box is a new addition to the event and organisers are excited to see what happens when the surfers tackle this tricky break. There will be plenty of action both in and out of the water in this prime Western Australian location.

The Tasar Association of Western Australia together with the Geographe Bay Yacht Club are hosting the Geographe Bay Tasar World Championship 2015. A Tasar is a two person sailing dinghy designed to offer exciting one design racing. The sailing will be conducted close to the iconic Busselton Jetty. It is expected that over 100 yachts from all over the world will attend the event, with competitors coming from throughout Australia, and from the USA, Canada, UK, Europe and Japan. Previous Tasar Worlds have featured ex-Olympic medallists and America's Cup yachtsmen as participants, and a number are expected to attend this event.

Club Marine Geographe Bay Raceweek is Western Australia's longest Yachting Regatta that attracts around 100 yachts and 1,000 sailors annually. The City of Busselton will play host to Race Three of the Telstra Triathlon Series in 2015. The venue will be the Port Geographe Marina - a picturesque triathlon location that boasts a Marina Swim Course (the only one in Western Australia), a fast and flat two lap bike course for the Olympic Distance event and a unique run course. It will be worth the trip to race in Busselton like never before! In 2015, the City of Busselton have come on board to host the premier Olympic Distance Triathlon on the Triathlon WA Calendar of events. The City of Busselton Triathlon is the State Olympic Distance Triathlon Championship for Age Group and Elite Competitors; and will also host the Enticer Triathlon for Novice participants and The Sunday Times Chillout Tadpoles Triathlon for kids aged seven to 11 years.

2015 is the fifty-first year of the Festival of Busselton and more than two dozen events will be held throughout the City. There will be markets, pirate dress up competition, fishing competitions, sandcastle competitions, bird walks and lots of art displays - there is something for everyone. The full Festival Program will be available late December/early January in many local shops. Come along and have some fun and they look forward to welcoming you to Busselton and Dunsborough! Most events are free but a gold coin donation is requested at several.

The Denmark Festival of Voice is a celebration of the human voice with a focus on community singing. The festival features free community concerts and workshops, and brings together local, national and international artists performing a cappella and accompanied by choirs, ensembles and groups.
