Birding South West conducts guided bird watching tours in the South West of Western Australia, focusing on the many endemic species of the region. The South West region of Western Australia is home to more than 250 bird species, 13 of which, including five parrots and cockatoos, are endemic to the South West; that is they are found nowhere else in the world. Other notable endemics include the stunningly beautiful Red-eared Firetail, the Red-winged Fairy-Wren and the White-breasted Robin. Their tours range from half day tempters right through to fully accommodated 16 day expeditions, as well as personalised tours looking for particular species or to specific locations. Tailor made specialty tours are also designed and conducted for other parts of Australia and are available on request. Join the Bunbury Dolphin Discovery Centre Dolphin Swim Tour for an intimate swim with wild dolphins in their natural environment. The tour is professionally led by our own marine biologist or environmental scientist and is simply the most breathtaking experience. Of course, the dolphins of Koombana Bay are completely wild so the success of a tour cannot be guaranteed and conditions apply.
