Rally Queensland is the Australian round of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship, the Queensland round of the Australian Rally Championship, and a round of the Queensland Rally Championship. Crews and spectators from around Australia and Asia Pacific countries will attend and the event will be part of the "Sideways in the Sun" Festival. The event includes a procession of rally cars, the Pedders "No Bull", top 10 Shootout at the Nambour Showgrounds, a Ceremonial Start with autograph signing, and two days of top rally action in the Imbil Forest in the Mary Valley Visitors can watch the rally stars in action at the event Service Park and Spectator Park just a few minutes drive from Imbil. The rally will conclude with a Podium Finish adjacent to the Service Park and everyone is invited to attend. Come and be a part of Queensland's only FIA sanctioned rally, The International Rally of Queensland.

The Sunshine Coast International Boat Show is the Sunshine Coast's premier annual boating event, run in conjunction with the River to Reef Fishing Classic. This year's event is now into its 6th year and is strongly supported by the regions' largest boating dealers. The event is held at Stockland Park, Kawana Waters, Sunshine Coast. The region's best boat dealers are all in the one location, with hundreds of boats on display. Plus, boat show only specials for this year's River to Reef Fishing Classic. This year's Sunshine Coast International Boat Show is run in conjunction with the annual River to Reef Fishing Classic. This Fishing Classic runs from Thursday 5 November 2009 to Sunday 8 November 2009.

Mooloolaba's Etchells Australian Winter Championship is an annual event conducted off Mooloolaba consecutively since 1997. The championship attracts a highly competitive fleet. In previous years place-getters have included America's Cup sailors, Sydney to Hobart Race skippers and Olympians. Competitors and their supporters come from around Australia, New Zealand and more recently, Japan. After 13 years, the Etchells winter event continues to provide competitors with a brilliant location for racing with one of the easily most accessible blue-water racing venues on the coast of Australia. The variety of social activities and accommodation choices, and easy access to transport options, also makes Mooloolaba a sailing venue of choice for many. Combined with warm winter weather and a friendly environment, is it expected that Etchells Winter Championship to be able to continue to survive, and grow, as a "must attend" major sailing regatta.

Drawing together teams from across the globe, the Southern Cross Challenge is an initiative of Softball Queensland and Canterbury (New Zealand) and promises to be an exciting, action packed tournament for teams and spectators alike. The Southern Cross Challenge provides an annual international-standard softball competition in the southern hemisphere. The event is hosted by Softball Queensland and Canterbury Softball Association in alternate years, and began in 2008 in Queensland. The Southern Cross Challenge incorporates both a female competition and a male competition. The 2008 event saw local and state teams from Queensland, regional and national teams from New Zealand and a Papua New Guinea team compete for the title of Southern Cross Challenge Women's Champions and Men's Champions. Come along and support your local softball stars!

The pinnacle event of Under 18 surfing in Australia, the Arnette Australian Junior Surf Titles, will be held at Coolum Beach from Saturday 28 November through until Saturday 5 December. Surfers from Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania must qualify through their respective states to compete in the Australian Titles. Considered the most prestigious junior competition in Queensland, a massive field representing a greater part of the Queensland coastline will enter the three-event titles across Under 18 and Under16 divisions, with contestants vying for state crowns and a spot in the Queensland team to contest the Arnette Australian Junior Surfing Titles in Queensland.

The ANZ Ladies Masters reaches a significant milestone in 2010 when the event reaches its 21st year as one of Australia's leading golf tournaments. RACV Royal Pines Resort on Queensland's Gold Coast, will play host to the event. The field will include the six time ANZ Ladies Masters champion, Karrie Webb and Australian golf's big mover over the last two years, 2009 Champion Katherine Hull, along with the entertaining and big hitting Laura Davies. Other significant player signings will be announced on the website. The ANZ Ladies Masters, co-sanctioned by the Ladies' European Tour and the ALPG Tour, will be broadcast by One HD on March 5 2010 and Network Ten on March 6 and 7 2010. Kick off the Australian summer of tennis with the Brisbane International, the first of the Australian Open Series events leading in to the first Grand Slam of the year. See the world's best players at the AUD 82 million state of the art Queensland Tennis Centre at Tennyson. The inaugural Brisbane International in 2009 was a resounding success, with more than 66,000 spectators attending the tournament over eight days. The quality line-up included stars Ana Ivanovic, Novak Djokovic, Marcos Baghdatis, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Fernando Verdasco and Australia's own Jelena Dokic and Sam Stosur. The 2010 event promises to be even bigger and better, again attracting the stars of the game to Brisbane.
