The Kedumba Drawing Award was first presented in 1990, and is now considered the premier event for drawing in Australia with a $20,000 acquisitive award for 24 invited artists. The Kedumba Gallery displays the Kedumba Collection in the grounds of Blue Mountains Grammar School at Wentworth Falls, New South Wales. Every year it is enhanced through works acquired from the Annual Kedumba Drawing Award and by donations and acquisitions approved by the Trustee. The Gallery also exhibits part of the Kedumba Collection Monday to Friday from 11am to 4pm and at weekends by appointment. In November of every year, during the Kedumba Drawing Award, the gallery is open daily and admission is free. The Kedumba Trust invites and welcomes friends, sponsors and benefactors to support the Kedumba Collection to grow and thus provide an important statement of the development of drawing through time.

The Six Foot Track is a 45 kilometre footpath stretching across the Blue Mountains from The Explorer's Marked Tree, near Katoomba to Jenolan Caves. The marathon started in 1984 and follows the length of the entire footpath. It is Australia's fifth largest marathon and by far the largest 100 per cent off-road running event. The North Face 100 is a 100 kilometre competitive ultra-trail running event through the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains open to individuals. The pinnacle of trail running events in Australia includes a spectacular course, over 4,200 metres elevation and a cut-off time of only 30 hours to complete the course. Belt buckles for those finishing in less than 14 hours! Test yourself, push your own limits and achieve something to be proud of! For those not quite ready for the total experience, the Marathon Pairs option offers teams of two the possibility to relay the distance at mid-course.

Wild Endurance is a spectacular and challenging 100 kilometre teams-only trail trek in the heart of the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park, just two hours drive from Sydney. The route passes through some of Australia's most iconic scenery, including the world famous Three Sisters and the stunning Jamison Valley. The event starts in the Megalong Valley and finishes in the historic town of Katoomba, with regular checkpoints along the route. Raising funds and awareness for The Wilderness Society, this event is open to teams of four to six completing the full course or relaying the distance half-way through.
