The Halls Creek Visitors Centre is centrally located adjacent to the Halls Creek Community Resource Centre on the Great Northern Highway. It is open from April to November and closed during the wet season (December to March). Opening hours are normally 8am to 4:30pm commencing in April. The Visitors Centre offers a wide variety of souvenirs, maps, postcards, gifts, internet access and books at reasonable prices. With detailed local knowledge of the area they can arrange bookings for scenic flights, accommodation and tours. A wide source of tourism information, quarantine and road condition reports are available for free to call people. Information packs are available for new members of the community as well as tourists. If you are planning to visit Halls Creek in the future you can contact the Visitors Centre prior to your arrival and request up-to-date information on the breathtaking sites and services on offer in Halls Creek. Halls Creek Café is conveniently located in the same building for light snacks and refreshments.
