Uluru Camel Tours is a locally owned and operated business based at Ayers Rock Resort in the Northern Territory of Australia. Chris Hill and Mark Swindells have worked with camels for their entire lives in Australia's Outback and now you can share their love for camels and meet some of their friendly companions on a visit to their camel farm at Yulara, NT. You can view the magic of Uluru/Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta from one of the many tours available. Witness the sun rise on Uluru and watch the desert come to life from the top of your friendly camel as you wander through the red dunes. There is nothing like an Uluru sunset on a tranquil camel ride through this beautiful desert region to put you in touch with the Outback. Their knowledgeable cameleer guides will provide an insight into the landscape, flora and fauna along the trail and will introduce you to the colourful lives of some of your camel companions. For those short on time, they have the shorter Camel Express Tour and their farm is open for visitors from 10.30am to 4pm daily except Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
