The Northern Territory's only international airport, Darwin Airport is located 12.5 kilometres from central Darwin, and operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The airport is equipped with modern facilities and retail and dining outlets. There are shops in both the domestic and international areas for last-minute souvenirs, gifts and travel essentials, and duty-free outlets for international travellers in the departures and arrivals areas. Snacks and meals are available from the airport's cafes and fast-food outlets, plus there's an airport bar for those travellers longing for a last NT coldie. Throughout the terminal, travellers will find ATMs, public telephones, showers, toilets, foreign-exchange facilities, luggage lockers and lost-luggage services. Airport facilities are accessible to travellers with disabilities. The Darwin Airport Shuttle transfers passengers between the airport and city accommodation, bookings can be made online. The airport car park is open 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and provides short- and long-term parking. Car rental counters are located in the Arrivals hall on the ground floor, and a taxi rank and a private hire car rank is located outside the terminal. The public bus route 3 travels to and from the airport.

The mainland gateway to the Whitsundays, the Whitsunday Coast Airport is conveniently located just 30 minutes from Airlie Beach and is only 12 kilometres south of Proserpine. Whitsunday Coast Airport is currently serviced by three commercial carriers Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Tiger Airways. Virgin Australia and Jetstar offer daily flights from Brisbane and connecting flights from other cities. Tiger Airways provides direct flights to and from Sydney on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Facilities are available for charter flights and light aircraft. Hire car and transfer services agencies include Hertz, Europcar, Avis and Budget; bus, coach, taxi and limousine services on an individual or share basis; and a reservations centre to book accommodation or tours in the Whitsundays. The Whitsunday Coast Airport terminal hosts a fully licensed cafe, bar and kiosk. Public amenities are also provided.

The Geraldton Airport is owned and operated by the City of Greater Geraldton and is situated approximately 10 kilometres east of Geraldton on the Geraldton-Mt Magnet Road. Three Regular Public Transport (RPT) airline operators - Qantaslink, Skippers Aviation and Virgin Australia provide services from Geraldton, south to Perth and north to the Gascoyne and Pilbara regions. The Greenough Terminal is designed for passenger comfort featuring conference facilities, indoor and outdoor seating, a licensed cafe and public showers. Parking at the terminal includes an area for long term parking. Full checked baggage screening equipment is installed within the Greenough Terminal.

Dural Visitor Information Centre is located on the site of Roughley House and The Pines. The visitor centre is managed by Hills, Hawkesbury and Riverlands Tourism Association and is staffed by passionate tourism volunteers. The centre is where you can access information on maps, local accommodation, drives, tourist attractions, dining, events, free things, conference/wedding venues as well as shopping, pubs/clubs et cetera. The volunteers are happy to assist you any way they can so come on down and say hello! Roughley House is a colonial heritage listed homestead that was established in 1856 and has been passed through generations of the Roughley family throughout the years, the property is now owned by Hills Shire Council. Group tours of Roughley House are available, contact the centre for times and bookings.
