K.I. Diving Services operates M.V. Cooinda a 13-metre cruiser for fishing and diving charters from American River, Kangaroo Island. All bait and tackle supplied, tea and coffee available, toilet on board. We run regular night time and half day charters, catching many of the over 100 species found in and around Eastern Cove, including King George Whiting, Garfish, Trevally, and Sweep. Or you can choose a full or multi-day long distance charter looking for Snapper or larger game fish.

Our boat dives are run from our fully surveyed dive vessel "Wild Cougar" which takes in the remote wild north coast of Kangaroo Island which contains some of the best temperate water diving in the world. Guests are picked up from the Idyllic beach at Western River Cove, and transported to our sites, where our professional dive guides will introduce you to the locals. Groups of Australian Sea Lions and New Zealand Fur Seals will give you the chance to get up close and personal throughout your dive. Kangaroo Island Ocean Safari (KIOS) is a family run tour company operating from the Christmas Cove Marina on the edge of Penneshaw on beautiful Kangaroo Island. KIOS takes you on an awesome 75 minute coastal and wildlife tour visiting places like Dolphin Cove, Kangaroo Head and Snapper Point. Travel in their seven and a half metre Gemini Waverider that carries up to 12 passengers Along the way you can encounter pods of Bottle Nose and Common dolphins, often with their baby calves swimming up beside the boat. Colonies of New Zealand fur seals and Australian sea lions inhabit the coast. You also have the opportunity to witness Southern Right whales (in season) as they pass through these waters on their annual migration. Seabirds fly overhead.
