Consider staying overnight and enjoy the early mornings and the peaceful evenings. The Maria Island Ferry travels daily between December and April. You can also join us on a Cruise and Walk package to view the majestic coastline including the Fossil Cliffs, Mount Bishop and Clerk and the Painted Cliffs, then step ashore to see it up close. We have mountain bikes for hire and can organise a lunch pack for you so you can enjoy an even bigger taste of Maria Island. Triabunna is a 75-minute (84 kilometre / 52 mile) drive North-East of Hobart, and then Maria Island is a 30-minute ferry trip from Triabunna.
