The Islander is ideally located at Point Lookout on North Stradbroke Island, just 40 minutes drive from Brisbane to the Cleveland ferry terminal, then a 25 minute water taxi or 45 minute barge ride to Dunwich. The resort is opposite Home Beach and close to famous Cylinder Beach and many other attractions, including the Bowls Club, Hotel, several restaurants and shops selling local arts and crafts. Guests can choose from three distinctive styles of accommodation, most with balconies overlooking the gardens, pool and floodlit tennis court. All are fully self-contained. You'll never be short of something to do, whether action or relaxation is what you are after, the island offers, swimming at the beach or beautiful lakes, surfing, scuba diving, sea kayaking, four wheel drive tours, rock, surf or boat fishing, golf, whale, dolphin and turtle spotting in their natural habitat, bushwalking, bird watching, picnics or a moonlight stroll along the beach. Car ferries and water taxis depart Cleveland regularly during the day, from Toondah Harbour in Middle Street to North Stradbroke Island. On the island, you will arrive at Dunwich where the local bus can take you to Point Lookout.

The Dolph Inn is a modern eco friendly three bedroom, fully self contained home. It is situated on half acre block in the settlement of Bulwer on Beautiful Moreton Island. Moreton Island is 35 kilometres from Brisbane. The large cathedral ceilings, cypress pine beams and a unique timber spiral staircase add to its charm. The house contains three bedrooms, one queen size bed upstairs in the spacious loft, two bedrooms downstairs containing a double and single in one room and the other bedroom containing two single beds. In total sleeping seven people. All power throughout the house is generated by their own solar technology with a generator backup. Tank water throughout and natural gas for cooking and hot water, makes the Dolph Inn an eco friendly place to stay. A lounge room contains a television. DVD player and stereo. The bathroom, toilet and laundry are all separate and the laundry contains a washing machine and also a large freezer Step outside and have a cold drink on the verandah which runs along the front of the house, a large gas barbecue and two outdoor settings are there for your enjoyment. If you are lucky their friendly Kookaburras will fly in for a visit.
