Australia's Coastal Wilderness

A coastline of unspoilt wilderness

Welcome to Australia's Coastal Wilderness - where local characters and communities, and rich traces of Aboriginal culture are part of a dramatic landscape of tall forests, lakes and stunning beaches.

You'll find eco-systems so precious they are protected by a World Biosphere Reserve in Croajingolong National Park. Experience the white beaches, rocky headlands and granite peaks morphing into rambling heathland, lush rainforests and towering eucalypts.

Explore historic lighthouses at Point Hicks and Green Cape. See the world's largest known colony of little penguins at Gabo Island. View whales, dolphins and secretive platypus. Marvel at the folded coloured rock at Quarry Beach and gaze all night at the starlit sky. Then savour the freshest seafood, wine and produce at local restaurants.
