Margaret River Stone Cottages are unique and private stone and timber cottages set amidst 115 acres of Jarrah Forest, making for a perfect country retreat only three hours drive south of Perth. Each cottage is private and designed to suit couples or families. Fully self-contained two bedroom stylish accommodation includes crisp white linen, fluffy towels and wool doonas. The kitchen is well equipped and each cottage has a television, DVD player, wood fired barbecues and cosy log fires. The area has an abundance of unique fauna and flora which changes season to season. Over 38 different bird species have been sited, as well as many kangaroos, emus, possums and quendas. Activities to enjoy include bushwalking, bike riding and stargazing, or simply sit on the front veranda, sip a local wine and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Everyone enjoys the grassed area to kick a ball, practice their golf skills or to throw a frisbee. Children can play in the sand pit, on the swings and can also feed the chickens. Pets are welcome (please mention when booking) with some cottages having a fenced area at the back.
