What can I say the landscapes are just breathtaking. We travelled by campervan from Cairns to Townsville (via Millaa Millaa falls, spectacular!) to Mackay to Rockhampton (beautiful gardens) to Hervey Bay (where we had a trip to Fraser Island stunning!) to Brisbane to Byron Bay (great for surfing) to Port Macquarie to Sydney. In Sydney we stayed just outside, in Bondi Beach which was lovely. We then just travelled in by bus most days, which was very easy to do and great value for money! In Brisbane we stayed central but you have to venture over the river where they have the most beautiful riverside garden areas, lots of greenery, water features, perfect place to relax, this is also where we boarded the river cruise. Cairns has a tropical feel to it, pools on the seafront with palm trees, lovely promenade to stroll along. Highlights - Sydney Sky Tower - revolving restaurant (is a must!) Tonga Zoo - (Seeing the koala bears and Kangaroos, Fantastic! Great views towards Sydney habour) Sydney Habour Cruise Flight over Fraser Island Brisbane River Cruise
