Adelaide Festival Centre’s annual OzAsia Festival celebrates the richness and diversity of our Australian and Asian culture and presents works from Australians who identify with an Asian heritage, collaborative work between Australian and Asian artists and a diversity of contemporary and traditional cultural experiences from Asia. It is the only event of its kind in Australia. Each year, the two week event features cross-cultural theatre, dance and music performances, visual arts exhibitions, films, food events, workshops and the Moon Lantern Festival - a free family event on the banks the River Torrens where visitors can enjoy multicultural performances, sample a variety of Asian cuisine and goods at the market stalls, try out different workshops and see the spectacular lantern parade light up Elder Park at dusk. Visitors can immerse themselves in Asian culture at the OzAsia Festival. Full program available from April 2010.

The Clipsal 500 Adelaide V8 Supercar event is an adrenalin-charged motor race held in Adelaide every year. Tasting Australia is the nation's premier food, wine and beer festival. In the 11 years since its conception, Tasting Australia has become one of Australia's most influential and best attended food and drink festivals. The event has hosted hundreds of Australia's and the world's top chefs, sommeliers, restaurateurs, food, wine, beer and travel media - including the most highly respected television presenters and producers - and has attracted a wide cross-section of the food-loving public to Adelaide and South Australia. Tasting Australia regularly attracts celebrity chefs such as Rick Stein, Antonio Carluccio, Nick Nairn, Rachel Allen, Paul Rankin, Sophie Grigson, Madhur Jaffrey and Claudia Roden, Stephanie Alexander, Serge Dansereau, Neil Perry, Shannon Bennett, Paul Wilson, Chris Taylor, Cheong Liew and many more. In 2010 the Adelaide Festival Centre will present its tenth annual Adelaide Cabaret Festival under the Artistic Directorship of entertainer David Campbell. All under the one roof at South Australia’s creative heart, the Adelaide Festival Centre, you can experience the Adelaide Cabaret Festival every June beginning on the Queen’s Birthday long weekend. Over the last nine years the Festival has become a major event in the international and Australian Arts calendar, as the most comprehensive cabaret festival in the world with a reputation of highlighting the best local, national and international artists in the cabaret genre, with classic and contemporary cabaret performances. The Festival offers unforgettable nights of music, satire, comedy, storytelling and an opportunity to dance the night away. The 2010 Adelaide International Guitar Festival will run over four days and will be presenting some of the best guitarists from around Australia and the world, with artists crossing a range of genres and showcasing their skill, musicianship and creativity. Over the four days and nights the Adelaide International Guitar Festival will feature more than 50 national and international artists in 16 performances and three Australian premieres, along with a range of free and low cost workshops, master classes, artist talks and panel discussions for audiences and artists alike. The first 2010 Adelaide International Guitar Festival performance has been announced and tickets are now on sale for a rare double bill featuring two masters of the classical guitar, Manuel Barrueco and Yamandú Costa in Musica Latina on 27 November in the Festival Theatre. The full program will be launched in April 2010.
