Located in the heart of Sydney, the Australian Museum is the oldest museum in Australia and houses the largest natural science and cultural collection in the country. There are more than 18 million items on display including artefacts, boomerangs, clap sticks, dilly bags and didgeridoos.

Janbal Gallery

Janbal Gallery is an Aboriginal Art Gallery owned and operated by a local Kuku Yalanji artist, Brian ‘Binna’ Swindley. Located in Mossman in Far North Queensland, the Gallery is a special place where you can experience Aboriginal art and culture through hands-on painting and storytelling. Explore the gallery to browse and enjoy the authentic Aboriginal art and artefacts from Far North Queensland and other acclaimed Australian Aboriginal artists. Join in one of the art workshops offered daily with a choice of a one hour boomerang painting workshop or the popular two hour canvas painting workshop. Binna will tutor you in the skills required to produce your own masterpiece that you can take home with you.
