Getting to Bondi
Bondi is about 7 kilometres (4.3 miles) from the city, to get there you can take a taxi or uber (approx 20 mins), bus or a combination of train and bus (approx 40 mins). Buses start from Circular Quay so tap onto the 333,380 or 389 bus until you reach Bondi Beach. Another option is to get the train to Bondi Junction and transfer to a 333, 380, 381, or 382 for a 15 minute bus ride to Bondi.

Being Saturdays NYC's only Australian store makes this one pretty special. It always proves to be a nice experience here, with a thoughtful fit-out and welcoming atmosphere. Their own in-house coffee bar also makes it worth a visit, with beans supplied by a local favourite, Artificer.
The neutral colour palette of Jac+Jack's relaxed and elegant pieces make them an easy and versatile choice for different outfits and occasions. Their soft palette is carried over into their Bondi store, which is a beautifully minimal space. A brand with a conscience, their clothes are produced ethically and with integrity, making them a must-see in town.
A unique brand with a distinct style, ANNEX put a modern twist on classic pieces. Their look is relaxed and casual but still very sleek at the same time. The brand's Bondi store is their flagship, so it's where you'll find the best selection of their collections and best-selling pieces.
Local's tip: If you need a break from all the shopping, you should head to Gelato Messina for the best ice cream in Sydney. You will be spoilt for choice, we're talking 35 flavours. If a scoop of salted caramel white chocolate or even tiramisu doesn’t sort you out, there is so much more on their menu that will.
Bailey Nelson's collection of sunglasses and opticals is extensive, with a plethora of designs to choose from. There's something to suit everyone's style, plus they're accessibly priced too. Their store in Bondi is an essential to visit if you're after new shades, with an open and clean space making it a super pleasant experience.
One of only two locations in Australia, Orlebar Brown's Bondi store is the ultimate place to drop by for new beachwear and accessories. Their tailored swim shorts come in various lengths so you can choose your preference, plus they come in a choice of either classic colourways or unique prints and designs.
