Day 1

Sydney, capital of New South Wales and one of Australia's largest cities, is best known for its harbor front Sydney Opera House, with a distinctive sail-like design. Massive Darling Harbour and the smaller Circular Quay port are hubs of waterside life, with the arched Harbour Bridge and esteemed Royal Botanic Garden nearby.

Arrival transfer in Sydney from the airport to your hotel. Pick up car rental.

Day 2

Enjoy your first full day in Sydney at your leisure. Visit Sydney's icons such as the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. A sunset harbor cruise is the perfect way to end your introduction to Sydney.

Day 3

Bondi Beach, Bondi, New South Wales

Your next day in Sydney can be a beach and wildlife day. Take a surfing lesson at Bondi Beach and visit the Taronga Zoo to meet a kangaroo.

Day 4

This day is at your driving leisure to Wollongong, a coastal city along the Grand Pacific Drive. Surfing beaches and rock pools line the coastline. Trails encircle the forests and rocky cliffs of Mt. Keira in the Illawarra mountain range which frames the city.

Day 5

Wollongong driving day at leisure. A drive to the north will bring you to where hang gliders launch from Bald Hill and to the south, the Buddhist temple of Nan Tien and Lake Illawarra reside and a large lagoon with boating and fishing facilities.

Day 6

Bald Hill Headland Reserve, Stanwell Park, New South Wales

This day is at your driving leisure to Nowra, a town in the South Coast region of New South Wales. The region around Nowra is a farming community, sustaining a thriving dairy industry and a number of State forests. The name Nowra, originally written by Europeans as 'nou-woo-ro' (pronounced Nowa Nowa by the Aborigines of the area), is an Aboriginal word for black cockatoo.

Day 7

Discover Nowra today at your leisure. Venture to Bens Walk for amazing views of the river or Hare Bay to pebble board or jet ski.

Day 8

This day is at your driving leisure to Batemans Bay, a town known for its beaches and is part of the Batemans Bay Snorkelling Trail, with reefs and native fish. The Clyde River flows past the town into large Batemans Bays.

Day 9

With a drive to the northwest of Batemans Bay, visit Clyde River National Park, a popular spot for kayaking and fishing, featuring salt marshes and coastal forests.

Day 10

Parliament House, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

This day is at your driving leisure to Canberra, or ACT as it is commonly known among the locals, a planned city, with national monuments, museums and galleries built around a large artificial lake. As a bush capital, Canberra is also a great place to enjoy the outdoors, with excellent cycling, gardens, parks, bushwalking and nature reserves.

Day 11

As you take this day at your leisure, learn about Australia's government with a Parliament House tour and later visit the Australian War Memorial and stay for the evocative Last Post.

Day 12

On your last day in Canberra, take in the views of the city with a summit to Mt. Ainslie.

Day 13

Murray River, Victoria

This day is at your driving leisure to Albury, an Australian city in southern New South Wales. It sits on the border with Victoria, hugging the vast Murray River.

Day 14
