Itinerary details

Day 1: Welcome to Perth

Australia's largest state, Western Australia is famous for long days of sunshine and diverse landscapes and climates. Enjoy the beach lifestyle and natural parklands of Perth, one of the country's most beautiful cities and the capital of Western Australia. Private transfer from Perth International Airport to Perth hotel.

Alex Hotel: Created by locals and designed to welcome all travelers. Centrally located in the cultural heart of Perth, we invite you to share in our love of this friendly and vibrant city. Our thoughtfully crafted bedrooms offer comfort and sanctuary. All rooms come complete with free Wi-Fi, complimentary continental breakfast, smart TVs and much welcomed fresh air from opening windows or private balconies.

Day 2: Eat, Drink and Walk Perth

Enjoy a professionally guided tour of Perth's small bar and restaurant scene. The approach of this walk is relaxed, yet sophisticated. Each small bar tour showcases the emerging small bar scene in Perth while providing refreshments for each guest at the selected venues. Along the way we'll point out numerous other bars and restaurants while guests get a sample of Perth's history, heritage and culture. Perfect for locals, first-time visitors to Perth and repeat visitors. Includes entry into 3 bars with complimentary food or beverage on arrival. Please wear comfortable shoes. The starting point is at Perth Town Hall and ending point is at King Street Precinct. Walk begins at 6:30 PM and is 3 hours total.

Exclusions: Items of a personal nature, tips or gratuities for guides, meals and bottled water. 

Day 3: Experience Rottnest Island with Bike

Unleash your adventurous spirit as you feel the breeze in your hair and use pedal power to cycle your way around the island for an unforgettable self-guided experience. Tour includes return ferry transfers to Rottnest Island, bike hire with helmet and security lock, Rottnest Island admission fee, morning hotel transfers from most metropolitan accommodations and lunch. 

Day 4: 4WD Pinnacles, Koalas and Sand Dunes Tour

We leave the city limits and cross over the Swan River and head north through the Swan Valley to Caversham Wildlife Park. We stop to view and photograph koalas and hand feed kangaroos. We then break at the small fishing settlement of Lancelin before the thrilling experience of 4-wheel driving in our giant 4WD over massive Lancelin sand dunes and the chance to try sand boarding. Then, journey along quiet back roads where kangaroos and emus are often spotted, passing through wildflower country. We move onto the Rock Lobster town of Cervantes for lunch (own expense). Afterwards, visit the wildflower shop or alternatively in summer time, (weather permitting) enjoy a swim or a walk on the white sandy beaches. We then continue on to the Nambung National Park, home of the amazing Pinnacles Desert. Your guide takes you for an easy paced walk through parts of this fascinating landscape covering some 404 hectares. Ensure you wear comfortable footwear, bring a hat and your camera. Later, enjoy a sunset journey back to Perth. If flowering, stops to view wildflowers will be made en route with arrival back in Perth at approximately 7:30 PM.

Note: Tour may operate with morning in coach and afternoon in 4WD or vice versa. This tour is not suitable for pregnant women, people with back problems and infants, if unsure please ask. 

Day 5: Perth to Margaret River

The Pinnacles, Nambung National Park, Western Australia

Pick up your rental car and drive to Margaret River.

Pullman Bunker Bay Resort: Nestled in a secluded part of the South West, Pullman Resort Bunker Bay is located only three hours from Perth. The resort is absolute beachfront to the crystal clear waters of Bunker Bay and is protected by the Cape Naturaliste promontory. Gorgeous Bunker Bay lies facing north and this stunning resort features 35 acres of landscaped grounds and complementing stands of natural bush. The resort features villas in contemporary Australian architectural style.

Day 6: Wine and Dine Margaret River Wine Tour

This is the Margaret River Wine Tour for wine lovers! This tour features quality wine tastings at a range of Margaret River's premium wineries. You'll have access to iconic wineries and the hidden gems that the locals love. The days itinerary is designed to satisfy your taste buds. You can enjoy your favorites, or take advantage of our local knowledge and try something new and exciting in one of the world's most exciting food and wine destinations. Our small group sizes and local contacts gain access to Margaret River's most exclusive wineries. A delicious winery lunch is included. Pick up from your accommodation at 10:30 AM and returning at 4:00 PM approximately.

Day 7: Perth

Wake up and drive to Perth.

Day 8: Perth to Exmouth

Private transfer included from your hotel to Perth Domestic Airport. Own flight arrangements from Perth to Learmouth. Shuttle transfer included from airport to Mantarays Ningaloo Resort Exmouth. Mantarays Ningaloo Resort is located on Sunrise Beach. The resort features a choice of one, two and three bedroom apartments and bungalows which are all fully adorned with all the modern facilities in a fresh and contemporary décor fantastically reflective of this beachside location. The Novotel Ningaloo Resort also has a restaurant, bar, swimming pool and gymnasium which will certainly be no hindrance to you taking advantage of this laid back town in an extremely relaxed setting. Ningaloo Reef is Australia's largest fringing coral reef and is a protected marine park and is also one of the few reefs that can be accessed straight from the beach. 

Day 9: Whaleshark Adventure Tour

Swimming with Manta Rays, Ningaloo Reef, Western Australia

Come snorkel with the biggest fish in the sea! Join us for a full day tour on one of our big stable boats for a day of fun on the World Heritage Ningaloo Reef. We use spotter planes to locate the whalesharks as they are in the wild, not fed by us to attract them. Then it's time to get in with our experienced guides who will lead you on the greatest adventure of a lifetime. On board our marine biologist will teach you all about whalesharks and reef ecology. You will also have the chance to see manta rays, humpbacks, dugongs and dolphins. Our videographer will take great video of the day – yours free to keep! We offer a good swim guarantee and one free repeat tour per paying passenger in the unlikely event that we do not sight a whaleshark.

Day 10: At Lesiure

Enjoy the day at your own leisure.

Day 11: Exmouth to Perth

Shuttle transfer included from your hotel to the airport.

*PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. THEY INCORPORATE THE BASIS UPON WHICH BOOKINGS ARE ACCEPTED AND CONSTITUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND SPRINGBOARD VACATIONS.

DEPOSITS
For bookings to Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, a 10% non-refundable deposit will be required to confirm land arrangement. For bookings to Africa, the Middle East and Europe a 35% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm land arrangements. In certain circumstances an additional deposit may be required by hotels, agents and/or operators from 10% up to 35%. You will be notified at time of confirmation if additional deposits are required.

FINAL PAYMENT
All deposits paid will be deducted from the final balance. The final payment is due no later than 45 days prior to departure. For all bookings made within 45 days of departure, full payment is required on confirmation. Payment of any money constitutes acceptance of all Terms and Conditions as described herein by the purchaser and/or passenger.

CUSTOMIZED VACATION ARRANGEMENTS
In certain circumstances a planning fee of US$200 per person will be required after initial consultation and after presentation of a customized itinerary. The Planning Fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from the final balance.

We accept check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover for land arrangements.

PRICING
Prices are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices are based on Australian, New Zealand, South Pacific, European, Middle Eastern and African tariffs and are contracted in advance and are subject to currency fluctuations, changes in local taxes and increases by suppliers. Springboard Vacations reserves the right to amend prices should we incur increased taxes or any other relevant factors that may result in additional charges. There will be no reimbursement or refund for price differences due to local specials and local or domestic discounts. Acceptance of this arrangement is a condition of booking.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

AMENDMENT FEES
After confirmation has been received amendments can be made to your itinerary. Springboard Vacations requires an amendment fee of US$100 per change to an itinerary. Amendments made after documents have been issued may incur a US$100 fee.

UNUSED SERVICES
Any changes you make to any part of your vacation after you have departed will be completely at your own expense. There is no refund for services provided or arrangements reserved and booked but not utilized by you.

CAR RENTALS
Ask for full details of inclusions and insurance coverage. No refund on unused days can be made. A bond for the deductible and/or petrol (gas) is required to be paid locally. Australian non-metropolitan and Northern Territory car hires do not include unlimited mileage.

AIRFARES
Airfares are subject to change without notice. Airfares are only guaranteed on the date that full payment is received. Changes in airline flight schedules are beyond Springboard Vacations control. Any increased costs or amendments to an itinerary due to changes in flight schedules are the responsibility of the passenger. Most airfares are subject to cancellation penalties, change fees and other rules and regulations determined by each airline.

CANCELLATION FEES
Cancellation fees are determined by the date that Springboard Vacations is notified, in writing, of your cancellation. Cancellations 45 days prior to departure will incur a fee equivalent to the deposit. Cancellations between 45 and 15 days prior to departure will incur a fee of 35% of total tour cost; between 8 to 14 days prior to departure will incur a fee of 60% of total tour cost. Cancellations made 7 days prior to departure and no shows will incur a fee equal to 100% of total tour cost. There will be no refund of any land services cancelled within 24 hours of departure. Some hotels, lodges, cruises and tour operators assess their own penalties for cancellations within 60 days and may be up to 100% of the total value. Springboard Vacations' complimentary Travel Protection Plan does not include cancellation coverage. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

REFUNDS
Travel arrangements cancelled, amended or altered after your departure do not qualify for any refund whatsoever whether part of a package tour or individual components, nor can components be substituted for alternative arrangements. No refund will be made for missed or unused services, hotels, meals, transfers or tours. A refund request must be made in writing within 30 days of travel. Refunds will incur a Processing Fee of $35 and may be subject to fees assessed by suppliers, vendors or credit card issuers. All payments for transportation or travel service not provided to the passenger shall be promptly refunded, in accordance with the agree-to terms and conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Springboard Vacations acts as an agent for services provided by operators and cannot be held liable for any alterations, acts or omissions on the part of those providing services or any other services incidental thereto. Springboard Vacations is not liable for (a) any personal injury, death, loss or property damage that may occur due to any wrongful, negligent or arbitrary act or omissions on the part of a supplier, its employees or person rendering services; (b) defects or failures of any aircraft, vessel, automotive vehicle or other equipment under the control of independent suppliers; (c) any delays in departure or interruption of arrangements caused by weather conditions, technical difficulties of any aircraft, vessel, automotive vehicle, strikes, war, quarantine, terrorist activity, civil commotion, criminal activity, force majeure or act of God. Baggage and personal effects are the passenger's own risk. It is the responsibility of the passenger to effect insurance. Springboard Vacations and the operators involved in this program, shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any detention, delay, loss, damage, sickness or injury however and whomsoever caused and of whatever kind occurring by any conveyance or property used or utilized by the operator. The passage contract in use by the operators concerned constitutes the sole contract between the operators and the purchasers of travel arrangements. Your travel agent will forward deposits and other payments to us on your behalf but is not our agent for the purpose of receipting money. Receipt of money by the travel agent does not constitute receipt by Springboard Vacations. There is no liability on our part in respect of any money until payments are "received" by us. "Received" means authorization from a Credit Card company or where checks are supplied, checks presented and cleared through our Trust Account by our bank. Springboard Vacations reserves the right to correct any error or omissions of information prior to final payment being received by us.

CALIFORNIA CONSUMERS
California law requires certain sellers of travel to have a trust account or bond. This business has a trust account. This business is a participant in the Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation (TCRC). You, the passenger, may request reimbursement from TCRC if you are owed a refund of more than $50 for transportation or travel services which was not refunded in a timely manner by a seller of travel who was registered and participating in the TCRC at the time of sale. The maximum amount which may be paid by the TCRC to any one passenger is the total amount paid on behalf of the passenger to the seller of travel, not to exceed $15,000. A claim must be submitted to the TCRC within six months after the scheduled completion date of the travel. A claim must include sufficient information and documentation to prove your claim and a $35 processing fee. You must agree to waive your right to other civil remedies against a registered participating seller of travel for matters arising out of a sale for which you file a claim with the TCRC, if you were located in California at the time of the sale. All payments for transportation or travel service not provided to the passenger shall be promptly refunded, in accordance with the agree-to terms and conditions, unless the passenger otherwise instructs Springboard Vacations in writing.
