Unleash your inner sommelier
Tap into your inner sommelier at the Margaret River Icon Tastings, which will take part on Saturday and Sunday in the festival’s Gourmet Village. Internationally acclaimed wine critic Nick Stock will guide participants through the Margaret River's outstanding Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. While the Margaret River is a relatively young wine region – the first grapevines were planted in 1967 – it has quickly established itself as one of Australia’s premier wine regions.
Book tickets to the Audi Gourmet Beach BBQ and dine on the shores of the Indian Ocean. Huge tepees will transform Castle Bay Beach into a stylish, waterfront eatery, as renowned Australian chefs – including Frank Camorra (Movida, Melbourne), Mike McEnearney (No.1 Bent St, Sydney) and Guillaume Brahimi (Guillaume, Sydney) – prepare a delicious menu matched to regional wines. Guests will enjoy a gin-inspired cocktail, created exclusively for the festival, canapés and local produce cooked on a sizzling grill.
