When to go

Visit Kakadu during the dry season (May to October) when the weather is temperate and less humid; during the wet season (November to April) many attractions are closed due to flooding.

Join a day trip to see the less-visited rock art on Injalak Hill with an Aboriginal guide. If the required entry permit into Arnhem Land is not included in your booking, you'll need to organise this ahead of time.
