ICC T20 Cricket World Cup FAQs

The ICC Men’s World Cup 2022 will be hosted across seven Australian cities from 16 October to 13 November 2022. Host cities include Geelong and Melbourne (Victoria), Hobart (Tasmania), Sydney (New South Wales), Perth (Western Australia), Brisbane (Queensland) and Adelaide (South Australia).

The tournament begins in Geelong on Sunday 16 October at 15:00. Fixtures will be played continuously across seven cities at a range of times (14:00 to 22:00). Read the full ICC Men’s T20 World Cup fixture list.

A total of 16 teams have qualified to play in the T20 World Cup: Sri Lanka, Namibia, United Arab Emirates, Netherlands, West Indies, Scotland, Zimbabwe, Ireland, Australia, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Bangladesh, England, Afghanistan and South Africa.
