The Riverland is a region of South Australia that has a 250 kilometre (155 mile) section of the 600 kilometre (373 mile) long Murray River snaking through its landscape. A horticultural region known for citrus and grape production, there is also no shortage of river based experiences from canoeing, bushwalking, waterskiing, birdwatching and everyone’s favourite, wining and dining. The Riverland is growing in popularity for families but it is also a desirable destination for couples seeking a romantic getaway.

Each villa is slightly different in design, however they are all similar in quality of fit out, and feature king-sized electric beds with massage and tilt function, heated pool, spa, sauna and outdoor kitchens.
There is a range of experiences available to guests, including guided sunset and half-day river cruises and in-villa dining with a personal chef.

Murray River Queen - Renmark
One of the first tourist passenger paddle wheel boats to operate on the Murray River, the Murray River Queen is moored permanently at the historic town wharf in Renmark. The modern suites are surprisingly spacious, comfortable and showcase the beautiful views of the iconic Renmark riverfront. Also onboard the stationary paddle boat is a modern Thai restaurant and a regional cellar door showcasing locally produced wines made to a non-traditional style and alternative varietals.
River Murray Houseboats - Paringa
Waking up to gaze out your window over unobstructed views of the Murray River is a true bucket list experience. Become the independent houseboat captain and seek out nightly mooring locations in beautiful and exclusive areas along the Murray River. River Murray Houseboats have five well-appointed boats in their fleet, sleeping a minimum of 4 to 10 people. This floating accommodation is great for groups of all sizes and is a hit with families. It’s a great way to continue the love affair with the Murray River and to experience camping but without the tents.
Wilkadene Station - Murtho
The historic Wilkadene Station is located north of Renmark and home to the iconic Woolshed Brewery and Wilkadene Homestead. A fleet of houseboats and a cottage are offered as accommodation options.
Wilkadene’s houseboats can be hired as ‘non drive’ meaning you can enjoy the houseboat style of living without having to cruise along the river. You can remain at the mooring site, a short walk from the brewery itself.
The Wilkadene Cottage is a modern self-contained three bedroom cottage, sleeping up to 6 people. Relax in the natural surrounds of the Murray River as you enjoy your stay in a historic venue.
