Cooler months (April to September): The cooler months tend to be the best time to visit Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Autumn (April and May) and spring (September) offer pleasant daytime temperatures averaging 12–28°C (54–82°F).
Winter conditions (June to August): Winter days are mild (15–20°C / 59–68°F), but night temperatures regularly drop below freezing (0°C / 32°F).
Summer conditions (December to February): The summer months see high daytime temperatures, often exceeding 35°C (95°F). If you choose to visit during this time, plan your outdoor activities early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the midday heat.
