Watch: A taste of the Mid North Coast
The Mid North Coast of New South Wales stretches for roughly 300 kilometres (186 miles) along uncrowded beaches, World Heritage-listed national parks, lush hinterland, ancient rainforests and beachside lagoons.
Next, wind your way up the coast to Port Macquarie. If you’re a surfer, join the locals at sunrise on one of Port Macquarie’s many surf breaks – Rainbow and North Haven beaches are a few of the best. Then, follow their lead and pick up a traditional Aussie pie from Bel’s Bakery after a refreshing dip in the water.
