When to go

The Kimberley has two seasons: wet and dry. The region is largely closed in the tropical wet, opening at its tail end in March. May to August bring pleasant, sunny days, while October returns to a sticky climate as rain clouds build up again.

Fun fact

The vast Kimberley region has a population of 40,000 and is the size of Germany, making it one of the least populated places on Earth.
